Today the Charlotte Bobcats have officially changed their name back to the Hornets. Very excited to see the primary logo I helped bring to life finally become a part of basketball’s visual heritage. It’s a childhood dream come true for me. Big congrats to Brand Jordan, Rare Design and Hornets fans everywhere for what hopefully is a great new chapter for the franchise. link

Beginning today, I am now the Design Director of Innovation at the New York office of Interbrand, focused on expanding the agency’s creative processes, service offerings and design thinking capabilities. This is a move I’ve been wanting to make for some time, expanding my role from a focus on identity design to broader design thinking and industry thought leadership, and I can not wait to get started.

Yesterday, owner Michael Jordan unveiled the new visual identity for the 2014–15 Charlotte Hornets NBA team, a project I’m pleased to announce I helped develop for Jordan Brand alongside the fine folks at Rare Design and with the aid of collaborator David Iglesias. Nike London Hospitality
2012

Environmental graphics, invitations and collateral design for Nike’s Olympic hospitality spaces, invite-only curated experiences for partners and athletes designed to showcase the latest Nike products, retail philosophies and innovative brand stories. The theme of the 2012 event was the crossroads of sport and digital, and included a digital retrofit of the beautiful One Marylabone Way event space, providing an amazing contrast between historic architecture and cutting-edge digital sport experiences.

I created the visual identity and print collateral associated with the event, featuring a script-driven digital interpretation of the provided event logo, as well as contributing to spatial design and brand storytelling within the event space.
