Very pleased to announce that I have been named to 11th class of Young Guns, the Art Director’s Club’s annual award for on-the-rise creatives in design, illustration and visual art. It’s an honor to be recognized alongside some of the brightest creative minds in the world, as well as a few folks who I am proud to call friends. The awards ceremony/party is Nov. 7 at ADC’s NYC headquarters:

I will be giving a lecture at my alma mater, Oregon State University, this Friday, October 25th, at noon with the wonderful Erin Mintun. The fine folks at Fast Company magazine have named me one of their “100 Most Creative People in Business” for 2013. A small writeup and some early sketches for the LeBron James identity can be seen over on their site, with much to come. Very honored to be considered alongside some of the most forward-thinking minds in the game.
Nike+ FuelBand launch
Iconic product visuals, packaging and branding created for the unveiling of a revolutionary new product called the Nike+ FuelBand, designed to track everyday physical activity and convert it into a universal metric called NikeFuel. By wearing the product all day long, you get a distilled overview of your level of physical activity, and the ability to challenge yourself to do more through goal setting and social media challenges.
A hugely important moment for the Nike brand, the launch of the FuelBand was a collaboration between the Nike Brand Design, Nike Digital Sport and Nike Brand Innovation teams, as well as several agency partners. The images were leveraged during the product launch event, as lead marketing campaign visuals both in-store and online, on product packaging and as advertising.
