The fine folks at Fast Company magazine have named me one of their “100 Most Creative People in Business” for 2013. A small writeup and some early sketches for the LeBron James identity can be seen over on their site, with much to come. Very honored to be considered alongside some of the most forward-thinking minds in the game.

Victionary has featured several of my projects for Nike in their latest book, ‘Palette 03: Gold & Silver.’ It’s a stunning book, happy to be featured alongside friends and designers I admire.

My ‘Sigils of the Houses of Westeros’ poster was called one of the ‘Best Branding Projects of 2012‘ by Fast Co. Design — though I still don’t think of it as a branding project, I do very much appreciate the love.

I recently created an illustration piece for comrade Adam R Garcia’s Illustrated Etymology project. My piece illustrates the history of the word “lunatic” and can be viewed here. Fun stuff.

Regarding reprints of the Sigils of the Houses of Westeros poster; First off, I want to thank everyone for all the kind words and overwhelming support of the project. It was done as a fun, creative outlet to prolong the ASOIAF experience after finishing the novels, and I’m flattered so many folks have enjoyed the final piece.
Because it was conceived as a limited edition run of 250, and in the spirit of not devaluing the print for those who were able to get it, I can’t in good conscience create another run of the posters as-is. The requests for a second edition have been numerous enough to sell the first run many, many times over, so sometime in the future I may do a second edition utilizng a different printing technique. However, with so many exciting new projects looming, I can’t quite say when that will be. Stay tuned…

Today an interview I did with Fast Co. Design about the Sigils of the Houses of Westeros poster is up and running on their front page. Thanks to interviewer Mark Wilson for letting me get really esoteric on the rationale behind the project.
